45-Minute Intro To Music Theory Class

Having trouble with treble? Are you going nuts over reading notes? No worries. Let classically-trained violinist Andrew Certner take you step-by-step through the world of music theory.

The first 45-minute FREE class covers the staff, clefs and intervals (the distance between two notes). No prior musical training is required. If this class is what you’ve been looking for, then you can get four more 45-minute follow-up classes for just $20 for All Four Classes! These classes will cover major and minor scales, chords and arpeggios as well as key signatures, time signatures, rhythm and pitch notation and a whole lot more.

OMP-member Andy Certner teaches violin, viola and music theory. Currently 1st violin in many chamber music ensembles, he performed in Atlantic City for seven years with stars such as Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett. He has a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from New School of Music in Philadelphia and has been teaching private violin and viola students for the nine years at two Music & Arts locations in Richmond.
